Provide friendly, efficient registration and information to all guests and fellow employees. In addition, provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and respectfulness to guests and staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Embrace and promote Oglebay’s philosophy, programs, culture, and high expectations to deliver Legendary Customer Service.

Anticipate, identify, and ensure guest needs are being met in the best possible way.

Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy and an ability to handle difficult situations.

Welcomes guests upon arrival and efficiently checks the guest in and assists the guest in a way needed prior to their treatment.

Pays particular attention to first-time spa goers and makes sure they are comfortable at all times.

Issues lockers, robes, and slippers to guests and escorts them to the locker room.

Provides guests with a tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering any questions the guest may have.

Reviews and confirms guest appointments.

Maintains a clean and organized spa by monitoring the facilities regularly.

Inspects locker room and cleans as needed.

Calls Housekeeping for in-depth cleaning services and/or Laundry needs.

Reports any necessary repairs to Maintenance.

Restocks Locker Room supplies and amenities.

Assists the therapist (when needed) with changing linens and treatment room supplies.

Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events.

Follows set procedures on posting room charges, cash transactions and refunds in accordance to policy.

Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists guests with questions.

Assists guests with retail purchases when necessary.

Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all retail products and pricing.

Maintain a clean and neat work environment at all times.

Increase revenue through upselling, services and retail sales.

Maintain familiarity of all spa and resort activities, services and products.

Ensure the Spa is staged for maximum guest impact.

Works with the spa manager to properly set up the spa attendant schedule, based on business needs.

Works flexible schedule based on guest demand s must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
