Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in the midstream and downstream sectors. This role involves leading projects, designing mechanical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception through execution
- Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and components for midstream and downstream applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution
- Conduct feasibility studies and write technical reports for project proposals
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all engineering designs and project implementations
- Utilize software tools such as HYSYS and CEASAR for system analysis and design
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- PE license (TX) preferred
- 7+ years Mechanical Engineer experience
- Experience with midstream (required) & downstream (preferred)
- Experience with compressor systems, terminal operations, and pump stations
- Proficiency with CEASAR II (required)
- HYSYS (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
