Stellar Care and Services is looking for a PCA/Residential Coordinator in our Colorado Springs location. This position involves assisting individuals who live independently in their own homes, but need additional support with community access, grocery shopping, light household duties, setting and working on goals, etc. Our company is dedicated to providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities across the state of Colorado. We strive to provide high quality community-based services that support individual independence. We are proud to be a part of the growth and development for all involved. This coordinator position is a good blend of direct support and administrative/in office duties.
In order to qualify you must have a reliable vehicle with current insurance and registration, be able to supervise others, professionally use computer programs such as MS Office, Google Suite, and other electronic forms of documentation. Compensation is $20.20/per hour + $.52 for mileage reimbursement.

SLS/PCA Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinates all aspects of the SLS/PCA Department
- Consistently exercises individual judgment, makes decisions and solves problems.
- Reviews client referrals, meets with family/guardian to sign up the client to Stellar Care services.
- Holds orientation meetings with family/guardians.
- Maintains the scheduling of mentors. Organizes and monitors work flow; develops staffing requirements and schedules in consultation with Program Director.
- Creates, updates and maintains program participant records.
- Writes IPs, ISSPs, and BISSPs.
- Investigates complaints or performance concerns; manages conflicts and disagreements in a constructive manner; responds to grievances; identifies and solves employee and/or client problems.
- Attends weekly staff meeting and actively participates in program planning.
- Represents Program Director at internal and external meetings.
- Interviews and, in consultation with the Program Director, hires new mentors.
- Allocates and monitors use of available resources.
- Maintaining Individual Financial Records for Persons Receiving Services.
- Supervision of direct-support staff.
- In charge of scheduling and ensuring coverage of required daily supports.

Driving status
This position is designated as an unlimited driving position, defined as one that requires driving a motor vehicle as a part of his/her Stellar Care work, including vehicles owned or leased by Stellar Care, and/or to driving a vehicle in which a person served is transported. All employees in this position must have a current, valid U.S. drivers license with acceptable status, and is responsible for his/her own automobile insurance.
Qualifications/Education
- One year of administrative experience in the human service field; or equivalent is preferred.

- This position is an hourly position.
