CNC Machinist

A manufacturing company in Broadview, IL is looking for a CNC Setup Operator to support production by maintaining and adjusting CNC machines, setting up jobs, and ensuring programs are running efficiently. This hands-on role also involves training team members and supporting a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist

• Operate CNC machines to meet production requirements
• Set up machines and make adjustments to programs and processes as needed
• Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in line with company standards
• Support and train team members on safe machine operation and company procedures
• Assist with machine operation coverage during breaks

Requirements of the CNC Machinist

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machine operation experience
• Experience with CNC setup and basic programming knowledge
• Forklift certification
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts

2nd shift: 3PM - 12AM Monday through Thursday, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $25.00 - $35.00 an hour
