Job Description
We are seeking a couple compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support to our senior clients in their homes or in our community care settings, particularly supporting and assisting them with their morning & bedtime routines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, managing behaviors, and ensuring a safe & comfortable environment. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care and the ability to work effectively in a home care setting. We operate on a two week schedule, allowing consistent care for the clients.
Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, with a willingness to transport clients as needed is a requirement. The travel expectation is that you can drive to a client as far west as Rochelle, south to Somonauk, east to Route 47 Elburn/Maple Park, and north to Pingree Grove.
Availability Requirement
- Monday - Sunday 8am-1pm & 4pm-9pm
Benefits
- $16-20/hr depending on skill level, shift styles, and dependability. Overtime and holidays are paid at time and a half, miles driven in your car while clocked in are paid at $0.70/mile. Paychecks are direct deposit twice a month.

Duties
- Provide one-on-one care to clients, including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and housekeeping.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space, adhering to our organization's standards for cleanliness and safety.
- Build strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Skills
- Knowledge of ADLs and the ability to assist with daily living activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a home care setting, including managing challenging behaviors.
- Experience working with seniors is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
