Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The Paralegal will be responsible for supporting attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, maintaining and organizing files, and communicating with clients.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Certification from an accredited paralegal program
- Proven experience working as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and research techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research databases
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and appeals
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel
- Prepare and manage correspondence between attorneys and clients
- Assist with trial preparation and trial attendance
- Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed
