Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Cloud Engineer Developer, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Job Description:
Performs software, development and testing on a forward-looking team for private cloud solutions and microservices containerization development. The Cloud Engineer participates in all phases of the Software lifecycle to include Design, Development, Integration and Test.
Cloud Engineer - Developer, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Required Skills:
· Development, integration, troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.
· Experience in software development, integration, troubleshooting using C or C++ or Java or Python.
· Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.
· Experience with Kubernetes, or K3s, Podman, or other containerization or orchestration technologies.
· Software integration and troubleshooting experience.
Cloud Engineer - Developer, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Desired Skills:
· Basic understanding of Agile Full software life-cycle development.
· Desire to integrate, test and troubleshoot and refactor software systems.
· Docker Registry a plus.
· Kubernetes Plugins like ISTIO, MetalLB, mutlus, flannel, haproxy, helm a plus.
Cloud Engineer Developer, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Additional Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent STEM field and at least 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance and must have at least an interim clearance to start.
