About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: You’ll lead the charge in enforcing safety protocols, creating a secure environment where everyone can do their best work.
  • Quality Control Extraordinaire: You’ll be the expert ensuring that all work meets exact engineering standards and specifications. Your keen eye will guarantee that our projects are built to the highest quality, every time.
  • Project Champion: You’ll document every step of the process, from requesting changes to scheduling follow-ups. Your organizational skills will ensure no detail is overlooked.
  • Project Close-Out Authority: Your final inspection of completed projects will determine if they’re ready for release, marking the completion of a job well done.
  • Relationship Builder: As the face of our inspections, you’ll maintain strong relationships with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, stakeholders, and the public—building trust at every turn.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma required. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as an OSP Inspector, Project Coordinator, or similar role—especially within telecommunications.
  • Hands-On Expertise: Experience with Aerial Fiber Construction, Underground Fiber Construction, directional boring, trenching, and plowing is a must.
  • Design Knowledge: Ability to read and understand engineering design packages and civil engineered prints.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with computers and proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with construction crews, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders. Leadership experience is a bonus!
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations, and navigating permits/approvals with ease.
  • Additional Certification: OSHA Certification and/or CDL License is preferred but not required.
