Global industrial metal parts manufacturer serving the automotive industry is currently seeking a Machine Operator based in the Cincinnati, OH area. The ideal candidate will have previous Header Machine experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with an excellent benefits package.

Machine Operator Responsibilities Include:

• Set up and operate Header machines
• Load parts, operate controls, and inspect quality parts
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately according to specifications in a timely fashion
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Keep equipment and work area clean
• Other general machine operation duties and responsibilities

Machine Operator Requirements Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator
• Strong understanding of Header machine and operation
• Some knowledge of reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues independently
• Must be able to use micrometers and calipers
• Must have excellent communication skills in both written/verbal English
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to crawl into narrow spaces, such as under machines
• This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
