Generator Service Technician II
Job Description
Job DescriptionSalary: $24.00/hr.
PALCO Power Systems, a West Virginia distributor of Rehlko, is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Repair Service Technician for Industrial generators throughout West Virginia.M-F 7:30 am-4:30 pm, but may require on-call for nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Must be 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Must have 3 to 5 years of previous power systems experience
- Must have your tools
- Great customer service skills
- Must be a self-starter and reliable
- Great team player
- Understand and have a working knowledge of automatic start and stop controls, safety shutdowns, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control panels preferred
- Independently and successfully diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel and natural gas engines
- Performed work on generators and component parts in various environments and working conditions
- Safely assemble and disassemble equipment and component parts according to the manufacturer's specifications
- Accurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders, load bank reports, ATS inspection sheets, etc., in accordance with NFPA 110 Level 1 requirements as well as with OFLAC
- Basic computer skills are required
Requirements:
- Must have 1 year of ATS experience
Must submit a background check and drug testing
