We are a family-owned business specializing in the production of fixtures and CNC Chucks for CNC Machining. As a job shop, our machinists are engaged in multiple setups daily, focusing on quality over quantity with parts. Our facility houses an array of machinery, predominantly featuring 3 + 2 axis capabilities, facilitating both mill and lathe operations. The role involves running 1-2 machines per day, with occasional assistance required in other departments.
Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings, program sheets, and work instructions.
- Perform a variety of turning, milling, drilling, boring, and related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
- Carry out setups and changeovers.
- Conduct inspecting and gauging operations to ensure quality standards.
- Measure workpieces for conformance.
- Clean machines, tooling, and parts.
- Operate multiple machines when possible.
- Collaborate in a team environment.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years as a CNC Machinist, including setups and edits.
- Background in CNC mill or lathe machining.
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
- Proficiency in G&M Code Edits.
- Experience in setup, tool changes, offsets, and running 1-2 machines.
- Familiarity with Fanuc or Siemens controllers.
- Maintain precision within a few thousandths tolerance.
- Experience in a job shop environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Mastercam edits.
- Multiple Axis experience.
- Vericut Programming.
- G&M code programming.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
