Make a Lasting Impact as a Special Needs Caregiver

BAYADA Home Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional who enjoys working 1:1 in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities.

Paid Apprentice Program: No experience required – We are committed to investing in nurturing in our team member's desire to grow professionally and make a difference in their community.

*Relatable Experience: Caring for a family member, Special Needs Caregiver, Habilitation Technician, Personal Care Aide, Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Nurse's Aide, Caregiver.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
• Provide personal care assistance as needed

Compensation & Schedule:

• Weekly Pay

Qualifications:

• One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)
• Desire to train
• High school diploma or equivalent
