Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate and configure CNC equipment to produce accurate parts in a diversity of materials like metals and plastics.
  • Accurately interpret and execute blueprints and engineering schematics.
  • Refine CNC programs to enhance efficiency and maintain impeccable product quality.
  • Perform precise setups, including aligning and calibrating tools and fixtures.
  • Use advanced measurement instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Solve machining challenges independently to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly workspace at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared production goals.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on CNC machinery.

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years of practical CNC machining experience in non-production settings.
  • Expertise in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Possession of strong operational abilities for CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.).
  • Familiarity with diverse materials, from metals to composites.
  • Proficiency in G-code and CNC control systems such as Fanuc or Haas.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving machine issues independently.
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and a team-focused mindset.
  • Ownership of necessary tools and knowledge of industry standards.
  • A commitment to safety and quality adherence.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in a prototype or custom job shop environment.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools like Mastercam or SolidWorks.
  • Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments.
