Your Responsibilities:
- Operate and configure CNC equipment to produce accurate parts in a diversity of materials like metals and plastics.
- Accurately interpret and execute blueprints and engineering schematics.
- Refine CNC programs to enhance efficiency and maintain impeccable product quality.
- Perform precise setups, including aligning and calibrating tools and fixtures.
- Use advanced measurement instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Solve machining challenges independently to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
- Maintain a safe and orderly workspace at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared production goals.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on CNC machinery.
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of practical CNC machining experience in non-production settings.
- Expertise in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Possession of strong operational abilities for CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.).
- Familiarity with diverse materials, from metals to composites.
- Proficiency in G-code and CNC control systems such as Fanuc or Haas.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving machine issues independently.
- Initiative, attention to detail, and a team-focused mindset.
- Ownership of necessary tools and knowledge of industry standards.
- A commitment to safety and quality adherence.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in a prototype or custom job shop environment.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools like Mastercam or SolidWorks.
- Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments.
