We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Alameda, California. This is a long-term Desktop Support contract position offering the opportunity to support and enhance IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the seamless operation of technology infrastructure. The ideal Desktop Support candidate will bring expertise in various technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network issues, ensuring swift resolution.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts and access permissions.
• Configure and deploy Apple devices, Android systems, and other computer hardware.
• Utilize Cisco and Citrix technologies to monitor and optimize network systems.
• Oversee database maintenance and troubleshoot related concerns.
• Support EO/IR systems, ensuring their functionality and reliability.
• Perform configuration management tasks to maintain system consistency and accuracy.
• Execute deployments efficiently, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
• Document procedures, solutions, and issues to improve future support processes.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in IT operations.
• Proven experience in Desktop support or help desk roles.
• Strong knowledge of Android development and Apple device configuration.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Citrix technologies.
• Hands-on experience with database management and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of EO/IR systems and their applications.
• Proficiency in Active Directory administration.
• Knowledge of computer hardware setup and maintenance.
• Ability to manage configuration and deployment processes effectively.
