Looking for a summer job that offers a fun beach environment and uses excellent customer service skills? We seek service-oriented, outgoing individuals to join the Ramona Park team to provide excellent service to patrons by lifeguarding. Lifeguards will monitor beach activity, serve in the concession stand, and perform facility and beach maintenance.
The season begins May 23, 2025, and continues through Labor Day. Hours and shifts vary; 30-40 hours/week. Must be available through Labor Day, including weekends and holidays. Ramona Park Beach is only open on weekends until public schools are dismissed in June.
Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age and have reliable transportation. Hold a Red Cross Lifeguard certification. Ramona Park staff who work through Labor Day will receive an end-of-season bonus based on hours worked over the summer. Hourly rates begin at $14.25/hour and are based on experience. We are only considering applications for certified lifeguards.
