Position Summary:
The C2 Network Engineer will support MCTSSA test events by designing, configuring, and analyzing tactical and test network architectures. This role is essential in ensuring the performance, security, and integrity of mission-critical networks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in tactical network architecture and testing
- Proficiency in network data analysis with Wireshark
- Understanding of OSI Model Layers 1–4
- Expertise in C2 integration methodologies
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related
- CompTIA Network+, Security+, IAT Level II
- CCNP Routing & Switching
- Experience with Riverbed/SolarWinds, Android/Linux/Windows platforms
- Hands-on with virtual networks, shipboard, and FMF exercise networks
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and virtual networks
- Analyze and enhance test network infrastructure
- Administer virtual infrastructure and operating systems
- Collect and analyze data from test events; create reports, graphs, figures
- Configure and secure network architectures
- Develop automated test tools (Python, PowerShell, MATLAB, etc.)
- Support RF, satellite, and ground comms troubleshooting
General Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance with NATO access
- Must meet DoD cybersecurity and OPSEC standards
- Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS if required
Location: Camp Pendleton, California
Salary: $148,040.00
