They must have personal experience (“lived experience”) in mental health or substance abuse services and be able to appropriately disclose and share that experience with individuals receiving services through our organization. The Peer Provider supports individuals by sharing their own lived experience in order to foster hope, build resiliency, and develop self-advocacy skills that will empower them to reach their goals.
This can be either a full-time or part-time position, with daytime or evening hours.

Provide peer support to individuals who are receiving services at the Diversion Center or who have accessed the crisis response system by sharing lived experiences and building trust and rapport.
Offer support and guidance to consumers as they receive services and support in the Diversion Center.
Explain the procedures to the consumer as they enter the Temporary Observation Unit or Extended Observation Unit, answer any questions, and provide support throughout the process.
Serve as advocate for consumer’s needs.
Connect consumers to community supports, natural supports, and additional programs.
Coordinate outreach and engagement efforts in the community.
Encourage consumers to identify goals and create action plans in tandem with the treatment team to reach them.
Foster hope and approach the individual’s skills from a strengths-based perspective.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the overall maintenance and operational efficiency of the property. This position is responsible for routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all building systems. The ideal candidate must be a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs and desires of our guests and others in a fast-paced environment. </li>
<li>Perform all duties toward the goal of maximizing guest service.</li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.</li>
<li>Inspect and maintain the property’s mechanical systems, ensuring they function efficiently.</li>
<li>Respond promptly to guest service requests and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to minimize downtime and extend the life of assets.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical and plumbing problems.</li>
<li>Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of maintenance work areas.</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency exits.</li>
<li>Report any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs to management immediately.</li>
<li>Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments to address maintenance concerns efficiently.</li>
<li>Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.</li>
<li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.</li>
<li>Participate in safety and emergency training sessions.</li>
<li>Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other exterior maintenance tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

<li>Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.</li>

<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner.</li>
<li>Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in maintenance work.</li>

<li>Must be able to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.</li>
</ul>
EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with basic hand tools and power tools required.</li>
</ul>
