Job Summary
Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, teaching, and/or evaluating education and training programs for designated area and audience. Expected to build strong alliances with department leaders, clinical partners, community agencies and consortium institutions when applicable. Must be able to organize, plan, coordinate, and facilitate educational programs, utilize adult learning principles, use various teaching/learning methodologies and provide role modeling and leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, Master’s preferred. Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
Three years clinical experience required.
Requires current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

The Community School Director will lead initiatives for coordinated mental health services and community support, focusing on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and program evaluation to improve attendance, school culture, and address learning barriers. This role suits a mission-driven, organized, Spanish-speaking leader with experience in youth development, education, or social services, who is passionate about helping students and families succeed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Responsibilities:

<li>Collaborate closely with CBO staff and school administration to improve school-wide attendance, enhance school culture, and eliminate barriers to student success.</li>

<li>Identify and address obstacles to effectively implementing community-based and mental health services by developing solutions in collaboration with school leadership.</li>
<li>Using data and outcomes, regularly track, evaluate, and report on program impact.</li>
<li>Facilitate a coordinated and cohesive school climate and culture plan that incorporates clear expectations, incentives, and team-building activities as directed by agency leadership.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS &amp; REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with youth or adolescents in urban environments, providing services that promote educational success, reduce barriers, and support social-emotional well-being.</li>
<li>Must be fluent in Spanish with the ability to speak and write proficiently.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with diverse populations.</li>
