The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and maintaining DEI and Pro Bono programs and initiatives across the Firm. This is a full-time exempt position, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be necessary to accommodate client needs. After the first 90 days, which requires 5 days a week in the office for training, the employee is eligible to work in a hybrid environment based on performance.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of DEI and Pro Bono policies, procedures, and training programs for employees and managers.
• Support OPC and Pro Bono committees in strategically aligning key staff bodies to strengthen equity work and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the HR team and other departments, which includes talent acquisition and business development and marketing, to ensure that OPC and Pro Bono’s vision for diversity, equity, inclusion and community engagement is integrated into Foster Garvey’s recruitment, hiring, onboarding, promotion, compensation, and performance management practices with the goal of attracting, retaining, and supporting the growth of a talented and diverse staff.
• Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of DEI and Pro Bono programs and identify areas for improvement.
• Plan and organize DEI and Pro Bono events, such as workshops, legal trainings, seminars, diversity celebrations and awards ceremonies.
• Communicate DEI and Pro Bono initiatives, achievements and progress to employees, stakeholders, and the public through various channels, including social media, email, and the Firm’s website and intranet.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as diversity organizations, law schools, and legal service providers, to support our DEI and Pro Bono initiatives.
• Stay up to date with the latest research, trends, and best practices related to DEI and Pro Bono, maintain memberships in related consortiums, and recommend changes to policies and practices as needed.
• Organize and thoughtfully maintain the mentoring program for each of our associates, ensuring every mentee has appropriate mentor pairings and effective trainings and support are provided.

Education and Experience:

Salary Range:
The pay range for this position is $100,000 – 120,000 annually; however, actual pay may vary depending on the candidate's education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

RESIDENT SPECIALIST: Summit Counseling Services Healing and Recovery Center
This position is located in Stanton, North Dakota
The duties of a residential specialist include but are not limited to assisting individuals with daily activities and personal care, this includes hourly status checks, going on outings, ensuring clients have needed necessities for personal needs, monitoring movement and safety of clients, transporting clients to appointments and activities, supervising and administering medication and vitals after training.
This person in this position must be trained in basic first aid, CPR, Narcan dispensing and medication passing certification along with the agency orientation all of which are provided for by the agency. This position has three shifts: days, evenings and nights, it does require working weekends. The hours and shifts are still being determined based on applicants and their ability to share in these responsibilities. This position typical works days, evenings, nights and weekends in rotation but may be more permanent schedules depending upon applicant needs
Requires a High School Diploma/GED or higher and valid ND drivers license
Criminal record check required and may be subjected to hiring and random drug screening
This position hourly wage begins at 18+ per hour depending on experience and life qualifications
