Perform duties necessary for the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid at Lourdes University requiring considerable knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations. Assist in Financial Aid modeling and institutional aid analysis. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
• Develop financial aid packaging philosophies and the merit aid programs to support the enrollment and revenue goals of the University.

• Responsible for IPEDS and FISAP reporting for financial aid

• Administer student literacy program and loan default reduction measures.
• Coordinate and participate in financial aid programs at Lourdes University, high schools, and other organizations.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Three to five years of financial aid experience required. Previous supervisory/management responsibilities preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Federal financial aid regulations required. Knowledge of Ohio financial aid programs preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

The teacher will teach the French Education Nationale curriculum to the PK2-K level and cognitive needs of each child and provide a wide range of materials for the varying French levels of students. They will need to possess a familiarity with many ways of approaching a subject, willingness to develop one’s own materials and be open to learning new ways. Due to the diverse nature of our School, the teacher will need to be sensitive and open to the multiple cultural backgrounds of the students, to be collaborative and exhibit a sense of internationalism in the work environment.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Create a nurturing, safe classroom community with, and for, students</li>
<li>Plan and teach the French National curriculum to PK2-K school age children in a bilingual setting with a team teacher and a larger bilingual team</li>
<li>Implement the daily program of activities based on best practices and researched principles of child development and in accordance with the program’s curriculum, social-emotional learning program (Positive Discipline) and school culture</li>
<li>Work closely with other French and English faculty and staff on multiple bilingual projects</li>
<li>Adapt to the bilingual environment and teaching methods of the school</li>
<li>Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests</li>
<li>Provide continuous student assessment, mid-year and end-of-year progress reports, and hold parent-teacher conferences twice a year</li>
<li>Attend regular meetings as needed</li>
<li>Successfully complete other professional responsibilities as assigned</li>
<li>Actively supervise students during class time, bathroom time, lunch time, transition times and during recess times&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of autonomy, self-esteem, and self-discipline</li>
<li>Assisting with diaper changes and toilet training as needed.</li>
<li>Observe each child daily to assess skills, interests, and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growth</li>
<li>Maintain a well-organized, safe and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children</li>
<li>Intervene with vigilance and respect to help any child in need, prevent accident or injury to the degree possible, and in any situation requiring assistance&nbsp;</li>
<li>Establish a positive relationship with all members of our school community </li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Proficient in the language of teaching (French and English)</li>
<li>Experience working with young children (age 2-5 years old)</li>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Education</li>
<li>Certified in early childhood education or currently working towards the completion of at least 12 Early Childhood Education Units</li>
<li>CPR &amp; First Aid certified or obtain certification upon hire</li>
<li>Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a large group of children alone in a classroom.</li>
<li>Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities</li>
<li>Able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs</li>
<li>Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences.</li>

Salary range for this position: $66,404 - $110,975 depending on experience and qualifications

Job Summary
An instructor of nursing assistants guides students in classrooms, hospitals and medical facilities and teaches them how to fulfill their health care responsibilities. Educators must be effective communicators and explain complex medical practices and clearly demonstrate how to perform specific procedures. Nursing assistant instructors work with diverse groups of students who have differing skills and strengths, so they must be flexible, fair and consistent in their teaching methods.
 
Nature of Work
The Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) Instructor will instruct students according to the curriculum designed to assist students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the state licensing exam for CNA. Assist students in registering for the West Virginia State CNA licensing exam. The instructor must possess the ability to work with students from different socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. The Instructor will teach a minimum of 120 hours of classroom instruction. The salary of employment will be contracted per class.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Teach the course curriculum as outlined
 Build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at assisting students to obtain the CNA license
 Maintain accurate records on all students, including but not limited to attendance records, schedules and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content
 Evaluate and document students progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained
 Communicate effectively with students, and all those affiliated with the course, including staff at clinical training facilities, CTC staff, and prospective employers
 Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care
 Maintain a monthly time sheet and turn in at required deadlines
 Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Director
 
Professional Development
