POSITION SUMMARY

Job Summary Our firm is seeking a reliable and experienced part-time Criminal Defense Attorney to handle court appearances and negotiate case resolutions. The court hearings are located throughout the valley, including Henderson, Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas. Any court appearance outside of the valley will be virtual. We are seeking an individual who is comfortable managing cases and communicating effectively with clients. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while being part of a close-knit legal team. Although the hours are flexible, it is necessary for the applicant to be available in the mornings for hearings. Outside of hearing attendance, the position allows for in-office or remote work. Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Attend court hearings, including arraignments, status checks, calendar calls, pretrial conferences, and sentencing.</li>
<li>Negotiate plea agreements with prosecutors.</li>
<li>Communicate with clients about case updates, legal options, and strategy.</li>
<li>Review discovery and assist in developing case resolutions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the principal attorney on case strategy and client management.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Must be licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.</li>
<li>Prior experience in criminal defense preferred.</li>
<li>Confident courtroom demeanor and strong negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.</li>
</ul>
Compensation: Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
