Job Description Summary The Lead Teacher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is responsible for creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, promoting social and emotional growth, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. The Lead Teacher serves as a role model for assistants and volunteers, fosters strong communication with families, and maintains documentation of each child's progress.  Requirements Requirements:

<li>Educational Qualifications:A current Certified Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher education such as an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.</li>
<li>ODJFS Compliance:Must meet all Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) requirements, including but not limited to:</li>
<li>Valid background checks and clearance.</li>
<li>Completion of mandated training hours, including CPR and first aid certification.</li>
<li>Compliance with staff-to-child ratios and group size standards.</li>
<li>Ongoing professional development as required by ODJFS.</li>
<li>Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with state regulations.</li>
<li>Experience:Prior experience working with young children preferred.</li>
<li>Other Skills:Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>
