House Manager:

<li>Supervise the DSP and report to QIDP of any issues at the CILA.</li>
<li>Assure that programs/services are being implemented at the CILA.</li>

Overall operations of CILA:

<li>Assure that medication counts are done timely and correctly.</li>
<li>Call in medications to the pharmacy as needed.</li>
<li>Take “call-ins” and assist with staffing.</li>
<li>Grocery shop and assure that all food items are provided for meals.</li>
<li>Contact maintenance person or QIDP when needed as soon as possible.</li>
<li>Assess the medical, health, and safety of the persons living at the CILA.</li>
<li>Assist the QIDP and the Individuals Receiving Services with scheduling community activities. </li>
<li>Assure that the overall needs of the Individuals who live at the CILA are being met. Conduct unscheduled home visits for the home you are responsible for to assure clients are being cared for and active treatment is taking place.</li>
<li>Reconcile and balance petty cash. Assure receipts are kept and given to the administrative office.</li>

<li>Assure that the facility receives a copy of lab and other reports for the individual’s chart and make certain the attending physician has signed before putting in client chart.</li>
<li>Copy all lab and other reports and send them to RN Consultant.</li>
<li>Copy medication changes, doctor’s orders, physicals, dental, vision, hearing and other appointments, and send to RN, QMRP, and Day Training program.</li>
<li>Check in medications for each individual monthly, notify nurse if any medications are not delivered</li>
<li>Order medications, assuring that the needed medications are always at the facility.</li>
</ul>
Supervision of Personnel:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for overall supervision of all direct support persons.</li>
<li>Assure that each new employee receives a TB skin test using the Mantoux method. If results are non-significant, less than 10mm, the TB. Skin test will be repeated within 3 weeks of the initial tests.</li>
<li>Job performance evaluations with DSP after 3 months of employment and annually thereafter with the input of the QIDP.</li>
<li>Review timecards to ensure accuracy and absence.</li>
<li>Fill in as needed as a DSP (See DSP job description).</li>
<li>Always check meds before the weekends to assure needed items are available. Keep the med cart straight and clean and discard all expired PRN meds and reordering as necessary.</li>

<li>Completes MDS, RAPS in a timely manner, utilizing observation and assessment/monitoring tools.</li>
<li>Documents resident response to care plans and evaluates individual resident activity care plans for effectiveness.</li>
<li>Develops and utilizes a budget sufficient to maintain equipment and purchase supplies, enabling staff to provide for prescribed activity models.</li>
<li>Utilizes the “biopsychosocial” model to create meaningful activities for individuals.</li>
<li>As an active member of the Interdisciplinary Team, utilizes cutting edge models of approach, such as music therapy, pet therapy, aromatherapy, therapeutic touch, etc.</li>
<li>Arranges for speakers, presenters, advocates, and clergy to interact with individuals and groups of residents.</li>
<li>Arranges and coordinates off-site activity trips, when available or appropriate.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains community volunteer efforts.</li>
<li>Fosters sense of community with the center environment.</li>
<li>Supervises Resident Activity Assistants.</li>
<li>Performs other tasks as assigned.</li>

Clinical Functions: 
<ul>
<li>Collaborates with rehabilitation department to arrange activities that promote functional independence.</li>
<li>Communicates relevant data to other disciplines, such as providing information on fluid and snack intake at activities to nutrition services.</li>
<li>Through in-service training, educates all staff members on approaches and models.</li>
<li>Collaborates with social services personnel and consults with interdisciplinary team.</li>
<li>Ensures all resident activity documentation is complete.</li>
<li>Utilizes Quality Indicators/Quality Measures Report to evaluate program efficacy for individuals and overall performance; makes program changes when needed.</li>
<li>Assists resident/family and social services with discharge planning, by providing insights on effective activity interventions. </li>

Salary: $52,000–$77,000 annually, based on experience and education.
Hourly: $35–$54 per hour, offering flexible work options.
Bonus: Up to $1,500 sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications:
