JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
As a staff member of the treatment team, the Peer Support Specialist performs a wide range of tasks to assist peers in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. Based on similar experiences, this position offers the Veteran [Client] empathy, support, and advice as challenges are faced along the way. The Peer Support Specialist adds experience-based competencies and real-world examples that complement the training and expertise of the clinical staff members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Share personal experiences, skills, strengths, supports and resources in your recovery from mental health and/or substance abuse issues to support re-integration into society, early intervention and treatment, peer recovery support, and coordination of case management and wraparound supportive services (as program appropriate).</li>
<li>Accompany participants to appointments and meetings, housing searches, voucher application/issuance sessions, and any other veteran-centered activity.</li>
<li>In coordination with the Case Management team, assist participants in developing recovery plans with the skills, strengths, supports and resources to aid them in achieving goals and plans; work with case manager or treatment team in needed steps for self-directed recovery (most often within the home of the Client)</li>

Health and Wellness (Physical Education) Teacher

Job DescriptionQualifications: A 4 year college degree in early education, kinesiology, therapeutic recreation, or human development preferred.&nbsp; Consideration will be given to a candidate’s education and experience. Job Goal: The Physical Education Teacher is to treat each child with love recognizing that each and every one is a child of God.&nbsp; Because we are taught that the human body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, we are commissioned to take care of the temples that God has created. In physical education we can do this by teaching students about healthy living and inspire them to enjoy being active. The physical education teacher should organize fun, attention-grabbing activities, such as games and competitions, to keep students active during class. Preschool is an opportunity to develop skills that will be used not only in elementary school, but throughout the life of each student. The physical education teacher will cultivate good social and emotional development through teaching good sportsmanship.&nbsp; Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program for preschool and pre-kindergarten students that coordinates, when applicable, with St. Anne’s educational units • Be responsible for developing and maintaining an organized classroom that offers an effective learning environment &nbsp; • Provide a warm and loving atmosphere for students • Keep the safety of our students as a top priority • Attend and contribute to monthly staff meetings • Complete a physical education evaluation for each student • Communicate to Director/Parents regarding any concerns regarding gross motor skills • Plan and lead students in Mother’s Tea and Father’s Coffee programs and attend (Orientation, etc.) special events sponsored by the school&nbsp; • Lead “big group” on a rotating schedule • Assist the Aide before and after physical education classes by preparing and cutting crafts • Perform any other duties as requested by the Director • Teacher will work two days a week teaching 2 ½ through 5 years old classes of 6 to 10 students.&nbsp; Regular attendance is expected; 2 days paid leave are allowed each school year. St. Anne’s follows the City of Salem School system in regard to holidays and snow days. REQUIREMENTS &amp; SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license to join our team as a Technical Trainer. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of technical experience, preferably in construction or power equipment service and repair, with additional consideration given to those with experience maintaining equipment at mine sites. MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) certification is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft applications are beneficial to this role. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, scheduling, and delivering training sessions that meet the needs of the service department and align with Caterpillar training standards. Candidates must be willing to obtain CIAP (Caterpillar Instructor Accreditation Program) certification within one year of hire and be open to travel between the six Stowers locations, as well as to Peoria, IL, or other Caterpillar Regional Learning Centers as needed. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential. A valid driver’s license is required, and employment is contingent upon passing a background check, physical exam, and drug screening.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop training curriculum materials accordingly
Deliver training sessions for service technicians and trainees
Maintain training materials, equipment, and aids
Prepare detailed lesson plans and instructional content
Maintain accurate training records for all service personnel within Stowers Learning Center and hard files
Assist with the selection and mentoring of trainees
Prepare and distribute materials for the New Product Introduction (NPI) program
Provide technical support to technicians, including troubleshooting equipment issues
Collaborate with the Technical Communicator to ensure up-to-date service knowledge
Attend required training classes to remain current on industry developments and Caterpillar standards, totaling a minimum of 80 hours annually. Also, must attend department meetings regularly and one Caterpillar/Dealer conference every three years per CIAP accreditation standards.
Manage and update courses and training schedules within Stowers Learning Center
Represent the company by serving on local technical training program advisory boards and participating as a judge in SkillsUSA regional and state competitions.
